(KT) - Messengers to the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s Annual Meeting Nov. 12 will be voting on five resolutions at First Baptist Church in Paducah.Resolutions range from the traditional one recognizing the host church and city to forceful resolutions on pre-marital cohabitation in Baptist churches, a concern over expanded access to chemical abortion in Kentucky, a resolution on how Kentucky Baptists should engage in the political process and one that recognizes the centennial celebration of the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program in 2025.“Kentucky Baptists are well served by their Committee on Resolutions. Committee Chairman Jason Burnett did an excellent job of leading the committee in their thorough consideration of each resolution presented,” said Todd Gray, executive director-treasurer of the KBC. “Their goal was to bring a slate of resolutions to the messengers of the annual meeting in Paducah that Kentucky Baptists would be resolved about.
